That is the big thing on girls minds here at Biola. The Ring by Spring... the saying is oh so annoying. Many of the girls say if I dress a certain way I could definitely have a "Ring by Spring" but I don't. Who really does? When it comes to marriage its about getting to know the person & promising them to spend the rest of your life with them, being there for them and giving all of yourself to them. So being as my 1st year here... I really am not ready for that. But who is? Its a totally new lifestyle living with someone of the opposite gender. Finding their crazy obsessions or how they don't clean up after themselves. I personally want to know the person pretty well before anything about marriage is a serious thought. I have to know I am truly happy with them, I can see myself with them and that I am comfortable around them as myself, with my flaws, my good days and bad days. But also a big part of it is parents. You all know those movies where either the In-laws hate the son or the Mother-in-law hates the daughter. Family is important to me so if I don't click with the family that is a total big sign that it might not work. You have to set up a good foundation with all the friends and family for them to like you and trust that you will not hurt the one you & they love. So yeah Ring by Spring....not happening this year :D Sorry ladies hahaha
